Established in 2019, Trill Impact is a pioneering Impact House with around EUR 1,3 billion in assets under management across our Impact investment strategies: Private Equity, Ventures and Microfinance.
We are convinced that private markets will play a vital role in achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals, by driving change at scale and speed. We have therefore built a team of around 55 professionals consisting of experienced investment and impact & ESG experts together with other experienced professionals, based in the Nordics, Germany, Luxembourg and USA.
To follow and contribute to the development of best practice, we are applying and participating in several global and local industry initiatives. Bluemark, a leading independent provider of impact verification services, has independently verified Trill Impact’s alignment with the Operating Principles for Impact Management with the advanced results.

Financing providers
We partner with like-minded lenders who want to drive positive social and environmental impacts through their financing solutions. For example, Trill Impact's first private equity investment was financed by the first sustainability-linked loan facility for an LBO in the Nordics and the first private equity strategy that signed a sustainability-linked revolving credit facility.
By leveraging Trill Impact's expertise in measuring and managing impact, we determine relevant impact KPIs, tied to such financing solutions, for the portfolio companies shortly after signing and set targets to track progress on a quarterly basis. We generally require interest rate rebates for a portfolio company when the targeted impact is achieved.
