About the position

We are looking for ambitious interns to join our Munich Private Equity team, that are eager to make a positive contribution to some of the most important challenges of our time.

Trill Impact is an established Impact House with around EUR 1.3 billion in assets under advisory management across its Private Equity, Ventures and Microfinance strategies. Within Private Equity, we aim to support companies that provide leading solutions to pressing global challenges and create positive environmental or social outcome.

Trill Impact's overarching impact themes; Sustainable Planet, Healthy People and Resilient Society, form the foundation for our Impact House and all investment strategies. These three themes, supported by key megatrends, address the ambitions stated by the 17 SDG's. 

We seek to invest in businesses with the potential to deliver environmental and social impact, while generating competitive financial returns. We focus on measurable impact potential, related to prioritized issues for the planet and society and with underserved target groups, where the target business can contribute one or several of the SDGs.

We are looking for full-time interns for a duration of 3 to 6 months at our office in Munich. You will be an integral part of Trill Impact’s Private Equity team and be involved in investment processes, including investment opportunity identification, valuation, due diligence, and other relevant topics. You will also work with our existing portfolio companies.

As an intern, you will be responsible for the following tasks: :

  • Identifying investment opportunities with high value-add potential
  • Sub-sector analyses to identify new investment areas
  • Preparing valuation documents incl. LBO models
  • Conducting industry and company analysis
  • Collaborating with corporate development in Trill Impact's existing portfolio companies

Experience and qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

  • Enrolled in a top-tier university program with excellent academic record, preferably with a completed Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Previous work experience in banking, management consulting or an investment firm
  • The motivation to build businesses that make a positive contribution to the environment and society
  • Eager to learn and enjoy working in an open and driven environment and contributing to an day-to-day office culture in Munich
  • Proficiency in the German language
