About the position

We are looking for an ambitious and service-minded student that will be working part-time (approx. 20+ hours per week) at our Copenhagen office, someone eager to make a positive contribution to some of the most important challenges of our time.

Trill Impact is an established Impact House with around EUR 1.3 billion in assets under management across its Buyout, Ventures, and Microfinance strategies. Within Buyout, we aim to support companies that provide leading solutions to pressing global challenges and create positive environmental or social outcomes.

Trill Impact's overarching impact themes—Sustainable Planet, Healthy People, and Resilient Society—form the foundation for our Impact House and all investment strategies. These three themes, supported by key megatrends, address the ambitions stated by the 17 SDGs.

Trill Impact seeks to invest in businesses with the potential to deliver environmental and social impact, while generating competitive financial returns. We focus on measurable impact potential related to prioritized issues for the planet and society and with underserved target groups, where the target business can contribute to one or several of the SDGs.

The Copenhagen office is small with only two investment professionals, but we work integrated with around 70 other Trill Impact colleagues in Stockholm, Munich, Luxembourg and New York. As part of the Buyout team, you will be involved in collaborative investment processes, particularly screenings and investment opportunity identifications, incl. valuation and due diligence, where you will support the Copenhagen team but also have exposure to collaborations across offices. The ideal candidate will be able to balance working independently with cross geographical collaboration. The role also includes supporting the daily operations of the Copenhagen office, with administrative tasks such as calendar scheduling, meeting coordination, and general office management.

As a Student Buyout Analyst & Office Assistant, you will be responsible for the following tasks, among others:

  • Support the Copenhagen team in identifying investment opportunities with high value-add potential
  • Conducting company and market research using MergerMarket, Capital IQ, Valu8, and other sources
  • Performing financial analysis and supporting deal assessments
  • Preparing investment materials, including company information packs and marketing materials
  • Taking detailed meeting notes, logging insights and updating contacts in our HRM system DealCloud
  • Supporting subsector research and company screening initiatives (across offices)
  • Managing calendar scheduling, meeting logistics, and general office coordination and logistics

Applications should be sent to career@trillimpact.com. To apply, please send us a cover letter (max. 450 words) and your CV, by the 20th of April 2025 at the latest.

The position will be filled as soon as we find the right candidate, so please apply as soon as you get the opportunity.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
